Painting is my attempt to tame my inner obsession to
constantly create. It is art that provides me the gift to search my inner self.
Holding a brush and placing it on the canvas becomes an extension of something
within. My goal is to create paintings that will delight and fill the mind with
wonder.
I like to use bright, vivid colors and impasto in my paintings. The bright
colors and thick paint strokes allow me more control over the play of light and
adds expressiveness to the painting. The heavy textures help convey the energy
and 3- dimensional reality from the surface of the canvas and the colors bring
the 2-dimension image.
